Little Snippets:Tiny Things

Sometimes the sun shines just right or the sky is the perfect blue. Today is one of those days.  I have a habit of listening to really sunshiney happy music on these days, but also bright and shiny things always look so much more delightful in the glow of the beautiful light. Ever look at the tiny things around you and marvel at their beauty?

How to write the perfect first post.

Let's face it, the first of anything is always the hardest. I haven't ever written about myself like this EVER. The idea of a blog is rather foreign to me, but I wanted an outlet to talk about all the wonderful things that happen in my life, but also to talk about my little shop.

Hi, I'm Noelle. I'm the owner of a wonderful toy shop in Bristol called, Jack and Jill!
Let me tell you a few things about myself and how I came to own the most lovely toy shop in the world.

I started to work at the shop in the summer of 2010 under the previous ownership. When the owner decided to relocate I couldn't bear the idea of this lovely shop closing its doors for good.  I adored everything about working here. I knew that I didn't have any experience aside from working as a PA for business owners, but with the amazing support from wonderful partner and the lovely people of my neighbourhood I decided to make the shop my own.

It's definitely been an amazing journey. I've been able to make this shop an absolute reflection of my tastes and loves, also become friends with so many people. This shop is for sure a focal point in my community but also a really important part of my life. I hope to share my journey with you and we can also become friends along the way.

Here's to the future. I hope you like what you see.
